Gemini - sold

Gemini, created in 2024 this piece fuses copper with only vitreous white enamel glass, with the stunning greens and blacks emerging from an over-firing technique. By bringing the oxides out of the copper and into the glass, these oxides react with the pigmentation to create the other colours. To achieve this effect, Gemini has been meticulously fired 10 times, with the copper thoroughly cleaned each time of any loose oxides. Sold in Farnham in 2024
