Shades of white

Created this year, this large enamelled copper piece has only three different types of white vitreous enamel used on the copper in its creation.  It has been fired multiple times at different temperatures creating the colours to be formed using the copper oxides.
 
The copper vessel was originally handspun by master spinner Warren Martin in Sheffield, it was then textured and shaped by Sinéad before being enamelled.
